This race car was originally driven by Rocketsports Racing owner Paul Gentilozzi during the 1990 Trans Am Series with a best finishing position of third. Karman Cusack bought the car in the summer of 2015 after we discovered that it was the sister car to Ike Keeler’s Oldsmobile.

Because of its racing history, it was eligible to compete at Monterey Historics events. Over the course of three years, the restoration included mounting an Oldsmobile body back on the frame, rebuilding every chassis component and building an engine. In its debut weekend, the Oldsmobile won the Race Car Concours d’Elegance and won its class on track at Elkhart Lake in July 2018.
