We first met Ray Bonthron in 1990 when he was a fellow race competitor in SVRA. His black #96 R&R Motorsports Boss 302 Mustang was the car to beat, which we were never able to do, so when it came time for a full rotisserie restoration on our ’67 Mustang vintage race car, R&R Motorsports was an easy choice. They turned the car out in a timely manner, at a very high quality spec, at a fair price and did an excellent job of communicating and keeping us abreast as to the progress of the project.

In addition to the Mustang they look after our ’67 Cheetah USAC Indy car and recently sorted out a variety of mechanical problems with our ’66 Triumph TR4A street car that other shops were not able to do.

Ray and William at R& R Motorsport have looked after 3 race cars for us. They have never let us down and have always put out that ‘extra’ effort to make sure our cars run and run well while we are at the track. The cars they turn out are immaculately prepared and give you great confidence when it’s time to go racing.
